Stuck inside because of all that snow? Bored out of your mind now that class and work are cancelled? Never fear--we're here to help! Here are five ways you can make your snow day a little less boring, thanks to Route One Apparel.
1. Make a T-shirt tote
Have a Route One t-shirt that you've loved but outgrown? No need to throw it out! There are instructions all over the internet on how to make a tote bag out of your favorite old tees (these from Instructables are particularly clear). And if you're not handy with a needle and thread, no need to panic--they're no-sew. Literally all you need is scissors (and the shirt, of course!)

2. Plan a St. Patrick's Shindig
Now is the perfect time to start brainstorming your St. Patrick's Day plans. Grab a pen and paper and start listing all the stuff you'll need for that perfect bash, like green dye, paper shamrocks, leprechaun hats, and of course an enviable guest list. And we know Route One is coming to that party--our St. Pat's collection can't be beat.
3. Have a Movie Marathon
Get the popcorn and get cozy with some Maryland movies like Hairspray and Cry-Baby. Who needs to go outside when you've got everything you need right in your bedroom or your dorm room? Get all your friends, throw on your favorite Route One sweatshirts, and you're all set.
4. Help Your Neighbors Out
If you're feeling particularly generous--or if you're just going stir-crazy from sitting inside all day--why not grab your shovel and help clear off your neighbor's sidewalk? Clean out someone else's parking space or path to the mailbox and you might just be rewarded with some good karma (or heck, even a few bucks). And if you need some hats and scarves before braving the trip outside, Route One has you covered.
5. Start Planning a Vacay
Sure, it's snowy, icy, rainy and yucky here in Maryland now, but spring break isn't too far off, and summer (yes, summer still exists!) won't be far behind. So if you're still not sure what you're doing for a vacation, now's the time to plan. Road trip with your buddies? A warm, sunny cruise? Maybe a trip to good old Ocean City? Whatever you choose, we've got swimwear and shorts for sale, and when that warm weather comes, you'll be glad you have it.
