Around this time of year, Charm City becomes downright spooky -- after all, there are so many Halloween-themed events going on in Baltimore! If you're wondering how you can spend the creepiest time of year in the city with family and friends, look no further. We've got you covered!
ZooBoo, Baltimore Zoo, October 27-29
Want to watch your favorite animals play with pumpkins? Ready to see who wore that leopard-print cat outfit better -- you or an actual leopard? Looking for the perfect place to bring your kids, nieces and nephews or little siblings? The ZooBoo celebration at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore has everything you need to have a great Halloween celebration, including wild animals from all over the world! You haven't experienced Halloween until you've watched an elephant pumpkin smash!
Halloween 2017, Maryland Science Center, 10/28
The Science Center isn't just a great place to learn about, well, science! It's home to one of Baltimore's best Halloween music and dance events, too. Every year, super-fun acts gather here to get every boy and ghoul (sorry, we had to) on their feet -- especially the rooftop dance party. Oh, and did we mention there's a costume contest with a $1k prize? That means you better start working on your look, PRONTO.
Hampden Halloween Fest, The Avenue, 10/31
This free event takes place in one of Baltimore's most fun and hip neighborhoods, Hampden! Bring your friends and family to the Avenue for this free event -- yep, we're talking costumes, candy, the whole nine yards. Could there be any better setting to wear your favorite Route One Apparel Halloween outfits? We sure don't think so!
Free Fall Halloween Celebration, American Visionary Art Museum, 10/27
The whole family is going to love this all-ages event! Head down to AVAM for crafts (make your own creepy-cute luminary), face painting and a free visit to the museum between 5-7 pm. Then, cap off the whole evening with a free Flicks on the Hill viewing of the Halloween classic Young Frankenstein. (We think this would be a pretty great free date night, too!)

Strangest Things, Power Plant Live!, 10/28
Want to turn your Halloween outing Upside Down? Head to Power Plant Live! They're going to partying hard this Halloweekend, and you've got to get in on the fun -- especially since there are so many prizes up for grabs at this event. Hint: we know exactly what shirt you can wear if you're stuck for the right outfit to head downtown in!
