8. Last year, witches were the most popularly searched-for costume on the internet. Of course, witch outfits have long been a favorite for kids going out for candy -- it's a look that's as easy as it is iconic.
9. Be careful! Kids are 43% more likely to get into a pedestrian accident on Halloween night, probably because more kids are out and about, and they may be more excited to run from house to house. Always supervise kiddos when you're trick or treating.
10. The most popular pet Halloween costume last year was a pumpkin, followed by a hot dog, a bat, and a bumblebee.
